Operating Rules & Regulations

The management requests the cooperation of all lot owners in the enforcement of and compliance with the following rules and regulations, which are established for the benefit of the lot owners and protection of the park.

Interments

  1. Only steel or concrete vaults of approved design, size, and quality will be permitted. Person or company installing or placing vaults shall conform to the Rules and Regulations of the Association.
  2. Interments will be made each day between 9:00am and 4:00pm. No interments on Sundays or legal holidays.
  3. No interments will be permitted on any lot not free of liens or unpaid assessments. Written request may be required.
  4. On lot re-sales, transfer of the deed must be completed or written permission from the lot owners must be presented before interment will be made.

Grave Spaces & Cremations

  1. Only one adult burial per grave space and a maximum of two infant burials per grave space are permitted.
  2. Each traditional casket burial must be made in a sealed vault.
  3. A grave space must be paid for before a burial will be made on that grave space.
  4. Cremated remains must be in a sealed container.
  5. The sprinkling of ashes over cemetery property is prohibited. Any sprinkled ashes found on cemetery property will be removed and discarded.

Grave Opening & Closing

  1. The opening and closing fee includes the setting of a tent at the grave or the use of the cemetery chapel.
  2. The opening and closing fee is charged for each burial permit or certificate of cremation received and recorded by the cemetery.

Plantings & Decorations

  1. No private plantings of any kind will be permitted unless authorized in writing by management, and only then provided that such plantings conform with the general landscaping plan of the Park.
  2. The care, upkeep, and maintenance of all private plantings is to be for the account of the lot owner.
  3. Fresh-cut flowers are permitted at all times when placed in the bronze vase attached to the memorial.
  4. Artificial grave decorations and potted plants are permitted from November 1st to March 31st. All such decorations will be removed by the Association on April 1st or earlier, if weather conditions require.
  5. From April 1st to October 31st, artificial flowers, potted plants, and baskets of cut flowers are allowed on Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day and are not to remain for more than five days following the holiday.
  6. Grave decorations not conforming to these rules will be removed by cemetery personnel.

Memorials & Markers

  1. Family lot and grave markers must be bronze tablets of an approved design, quality, and uniform size, flush mounted on concrete foundations of adequate depth.
  2. All markers shall be installed by the Association, and installation cost shall be paid to the Association in advance by the lot owner.
  3. Approved cement or metal lot number markers are furnished and installed by the Association. Special bronze lot number markers will be installed by the Association at the expense of the lot owner. Cost of the bronze marker and installation shall be paid in advance.
  4. An amount, as determined by the Board of Trustees, shall be deposited to the Perpetual Care Fund on each bronze memorial or marker installed in said Park.
  5. All bronze memorials shall be of authorized sizes as follows:
    1. Individual – for one grave space only: 24×14, 24×13, and 24×12
    2. Companion – for two grave spaces only: 56×16, 44×14, and 44×13
    3. Infant – for infant burial only: 22×10 and 16×8
  6. Each burial may be memorialized by only one bronze memorial.

Government Memorials

  1. Government memorials must conform to the same rules as any non-government memorial.
  2. The installation fee for a government memorial is the same as for any non-government memorial and must be paid at the time the application is submitted to the cemetery for approval.
